The Härkila Kalix HSP hunting vest features a textured, matt ripstop outer fabric that looks light and robust. The PFC-free DWR finish makes the fabric water repellent – not a substitute for a hardshell layer, but more than adequate for damp morning hunts or wet driven hunts when you’re wearing an outer jacket anyway. The 90g ‘Thermo Poly Shield’ filling keeps you warm without adding bulk, making the hunting vest a true everyday layer between a base layer and an outer jacket.
The two zipped side pockets offer enough storage space for gloves or small items without getting in the way of your belt. The elasticated cuffs fit snugly enough to block draughts, yet allow full freedom of movement when taking aim. As an HSP product, the hunting waistcoat integrates seamlessly into the Härkila Sporting Performance Layering System.
