The classic: the lumberjack shirt
Popular with hunters and foresters is the classic lumberjack shirt in a checked pattern.
Such shirts are often available in lined versions or in some cases even with built-in membranes. Then you can wear the shirt like a jacket. The normal versions are usually cotton or flannel shirts. They are extremely comfortable and therefore ideal for hunting and leisure.
Functional shirts for hunting
For hunting in summer at high temperatures, functional shirts made of polyester mix or bamboo fibres are the perfect companion and ensure a high level of wearing comfort. The Bamboo material in hunting shirts is also naturally antibacterial and thus prevents unpleasant odours. Slits in the back often provide additional ventilation.
Collar types in detail
There are different types of collars for shirts. A classic and widespread collar type is the button-down collar. Here, the collar is buttoned onto the shirt. Also very popular are the Eton or Kent collars, which fit normally and can also be worn well with ties.
