The Pirscher Gear allseason women’s trousers are comfortable, weatherproof hunting trousers with a high proportion of Stretch. These low-noise softshell trousers combine highly functional materials with a feminine cut and an active fit. This makes them equally suitable for hunting, stalking or working with dogs.
Features of the Pirscher Gear allseason women’s hunting trousers
The Pirscher Gear allseason women’s hunting trousers have an active, feminine fit. The high-cut waistband with elasticated inserts, combined with the extremely stretchy fabric, ensures a very comfortable fit.
On the inside of the waistband, an anti-slip band prevents the top from riding up unintentionally when moving. Boot hooks are sewn into the hem of the trouser legs to prevent the trousers from riding up off your hunting boots. This means the entire cut of the women’s hunting trousers is perfectly tailored to active forms of hunting.
During strenuous activities, two ventilation zips allow for cooling air circulation. They are positioned along the sides of the thighs and feature breathable mesh inserts. This prevents annoying twigs from getting into the trousers whilst walking through the undergrowth.
Thanks to their waterproof zips and taped seams, the trousers are completely sealed. Sturdy reinforcements at the leg cuffs, made from hard-wearing nylon, make the trousers more durable.
The trousers feature a total of five pockets. Two side pockets, two thigh pockets and one back pocket provide ample storage space for small hunting equipment. The two patch thigh pockets are fitted with waterproof zips. The back pocket also has a zip.
The three-layer fabric construction in detail:
1st layer: ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane
The outer layer consists of an ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane with a water column of 5,000 mm (m²/24h) and a breathability rating of 8,000 g (m²/24h). The higher the water column, the more waterproof – but also the noisier – the jacket is, and the poorer its breathability. In our view, this moderately strong membrane offers the best compromise between low noise, windproofing, rain protection and breathability.
The ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane repels light to moderate rain over a moderate period and provides effective protection against the wet. At the same time, it optimally wicks moisture away in the form of vapour. The membrane’s high windproofing prevents the body from cooling down due to wind and retains body heat beneath the hunting trousers. Nevertheless, the outer fabric is still silent enough for hunting whilst stalking and on the hunting.
2nd layer: Stretch
The purpose of the Stretch layer is to ensure maximum freedom of movement. We have chosen to incorporate two different Stretch fabrics into the trousers. One material is more durable and is used in the knee and seat areas, as these areas are subject to greater wear and tear. The other material is more elastic due to a higher proportion of Stretch and is used in the thigh areas, where movement is most intense. This ensures the trousers adapt perfectly to every movement whilst hunting and never feel restrictive.
3rd layer: Waffle Grid Fleece
The inner layer of the trousers consists of a soft fleece with a honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure creates small air channels within the fleece material, through which moisture can be wicked away more quickly. At the same time, however, the air pockets also help to retain body heat more effectively. The Pirscher Gear allseason women’s hunting trousers have an active, feminine fit. The high-cut waistband with elasticated inserts, combined with the extremely stretchy fabric, ensures a very comfortable fit.
