The Pirscher Gear Ultralight 2.0 Tanatex long sleeve shirt in the Optimax 2S camouflage pattern is an ultralight, highly breathable camouflage shirt with improved insect protection. Its integrated Tanatex treatment repels ticks and mosquitoes, while the denser 2.0 fabric structure further inhibits mosquito bites. Thanks to Silvadur freshness technology, it also protects against odours caused by perspiration. Ideal for hunting & stalking on hot summer days: perfectly camouflaged, highly breathable, fast-drying and silent.

The big difference: the denser 2.0 fabric structure makes mosquito bites even more difficult and adds a further protective barrier to the tried-and-tested Tanatex insect protection.
The camouflaged version of the Pirscher Gear Ultralight 2.0 Tanatex LS shirt is therefore ideally suited to all summer hunting requirements: It protects against heat and sunlight, annoying bloodsuckers and inhibits body odour. In addition, the Optimax 2S camouflage pattern, specially developed for Central European vegetation, provides the perfect conditions for successful stalking.
Double protection against ticks and mosquitoes
As hunters, we are particularly exposed to the risk of disease transmission through insect bites. That's why we have integrated the Tanatex® insect protection ; a permethrin-based insect-proof treatment. The odourless insect repellent repels mosquitoes and ticks for a long time and can be washed up to 40 times.
A new feature of the 2.0 version is the denser fabric structure, which makes it even more difficult for mosquitoes to bite. This creates a double protective effect of chemical defence and physical barrier.
The proportion of light-coloured elements in the camouflage pattern has been optimised to create a high-contrast camouflage. It ensures that the hunter does not stand out as a dark spot against the background in low light conditions at dusk, but that his contours blend into the surroundings. The Optimax 2S camouflage pattern combines macro and micro elements and thus optimally breaks up the contours of the hunter at both close and long range. The camo therefore achieves an outstanding camouflage effect both when stalking in the forest at short distances and when hunting in the mountains, sometimes at very long distances.

Please note:Permethrin is safefor humans and dogs - like a spot-on against ticks & fleas (source: World Health Organisation (WHO) and Federal Institute for Risk Assessment). However, permethrin can be harmful to cats, so you should avoid contact with your pet. The insect repellent has been proven to effectively repel mosquitoes and ticks and significantly reduces exposure to insect bites, but - similar to mosquito sprays - it cannot guarantee 100 per cent protection.

hunting, you not only want to avoid loud noises, but also odours. To ensure that our functional material retains its neutral odour when being shooted, we have used Silvadur Frische technology (skin-friendly, OEKO-TEX-certified). It actively combats odours. Optimax 2S camouflage pattern was developed exclusively for Pirscher Gear in cooperation with the Taiwanese camouflage pattern specialist TECL-WOOD. The colour scheme of the pattern is specially adapted to Central European vegetation.
