The Pirscher Gear allseason jacket is a technical softshell jacket designed for hunting and driven hunts. This wind- and waterproof hunting jacket combines highly functional materials with a high-performance design. It is designed to withstand even the harshest conditions – a reliable all-round companion for every season.

With the Pirscher Gear allseason jacket, we have created THE ONE JACKET that you can always wear: Whether on mild spring days whilst stalking roe deer, for cool summer night hunts, during the changeable autumn season, or when the first snow falls in winter. When designing it, it was important to us that the jacket performed well for hunting whilst also looking casual enough to cut a fine figure away from the hunt.

Our aim was to develop a hunting jacket which, with the right layering system, can be used throughout the entire hunting year.

That is why the jacket is based on a 3-layer construction:

1st layer: ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane
The outer layer consists of an ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane with a water column rating of 5,000 mm (m²/24h) and a breathability rating of 8,000 g (m²/24h). The higher the water column, the more waterproof – but also the noisier – a jacket is, and the poorer its breathability. The moderately robust membrane in the Pirscher Gear allseason jacket offers what we consider to be the best balance of low noise, windproofing, rain protection and breathability.

The ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane repels light to moderate rain over a moderate period of time and provides effective protection against the wet. At the same time, it allows moisture in the form of vapour to escape to the outside. The membrane’s high windproofing prevents you from getting chilled by the wind and retains body heat beneath the jacket. Nevertheless, the outer fabric is still silent enough to allow the jacket to be used for stalking and hunting.

2nd layer: Stretch
The purpose of the Stretch layer is to ensure maximum freedom of movement. We have chosen to use two different Stretch fabrics. One material is more durable and is used in areas subject to greater wear and tear. The second fabric has a higher Stretch content and is used in areas subject to high levels of movement. This ensures the jacket adapts perfectly to every movement whilst hunting and does not restrict movement.

3rd layer: Waffle Grid Fleece
The inner layer of the jacket consists of a warm fleece with a honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure forms small air channels in the fleece material, through which moisture can be wicked away more quickly. At the same time, however, the air pockets also help to retain body heat more effectively. This gives the hunting jacket excellent insulating properties.

This three-layer construction forms the basis for ensuring that the Pirscher Gear allseason jacket can be worn all year round when combined with the right base layer and a warm mid-layer.

Features of the Pirscher Gear allseason jacket

Thanks to its waterproof zips and taped seams, this hunting jacket is completely sealed. Behind the smooth-running front zip with chin guard, a flap provides extra protection against wind and rain. Even more protection from the elements is provided by the high collar and the extended back.

Excellent temperature management is provided by the ventilation zips under the arms. They allow you to react quickly during strenuous activities and release warm air rapidly.

The Pirscher Gear allseason jacket has a sporty cut. The adjustable cuffs and the adjustable hem ensure a close-fitting, comfortable fit. They keep draughts out and prevent the jacket from slipping. This makes the fit perfectly suited to active hunting styles.

The hood of the jacket is adjustable in two ways and features a small visor to keep rain off the face. When designing the hood we took care to ensure that it restricts the field of vision as little as possible whilst hunting.

The jacket is fitted with a total of five pockets. On the outside, two chest pockets and two side pockets provide storage space for hunting equipment. Thanks to the waterproof pocket zips, technical equipment such as radios and tracking devices is also kept safe. The fleece pocket lining feels comfortable and keeps your hands warm on cooler hunting days. The two chest pockets are each fitted with a antenna opening and are positioned so that they remain easily accessible even when a rucksack is strapped on.
On the inside, the jacket features a chest pocket with a zip for a wallet or hunting licence.
