The Pirscher Gear Ultralight 2.0 Tanatex hoodie shirt in the Optimax 2S camouflage pattern is an ultralight camouflage shirt with double insect protection. Its Tanatex treatment repels ticks and mosquitoes, while the denser 2.0 fabric structure makes mosquito bites even more difficult. Thanks to Silvadur freshness technology, it also protects against odours caused by perspiration. Ideal for hunting & stalking on hot summer days: perfectly camouflaged, highly breathable, fast-drying and silent.

The big difference: the denser 2.0 fabric structure makes mosquito bites even more difficult and adds a further protective barrier to the tried-and-tested Tanatex insect protection.
The camouflaged version of the Pirscher Gear Ultralight 2.0 Tanatex hoodie shirt is therefore ideally suited to all summer hunting requirements: It protects against heat and sunlight, annoying bloodsuckers and inhibits body odour. In addition, the Optimax 2S camouflage pattern, specially developed for Central European vegetation, provides the perfect conditions for successful stalking.
Double protection against ticks and mosquitoes
As hunters, we are particularly exposed to the risk of disease transmission through insect bites. That's why we have integrated the Tanatex® insect protection ; a permethrin-based insect-proof treatment. The odourless insect repellent repels mosquitoes and ticks for a long time and can be washed up to 40 times.
A new feature of the 2.0 version is the denser fabric structure, which makes it even more difficult for mosquitoes to bite. This creates a double protective effect of chemical defence and physical barrier.
Features of the Pirscher Gear Ultralight 2.0 Hoodie Shirt (Optimax 2S)
The athletic cut and the 4-way Stretch material guarantee optimum freedom of movement and a high level of comfort when hunting.
The anatomically shaped hood and the integrated camouflage mask enable quick camouflage when stalking and hunting on the open ladder. At the same time, the face is protected from mosquitoes. When the mask is not needed, it can be conveniently hidden in the hood.
The extra-long sleeves with the practical thumb loops can be used to camouflage the hands and protect them from mosquitoes. They also improve the fit of the hunting hoodie when moving.
The chest zip of the Pirscher Gear Ultralight hoodie shirt can be opened deep down to the chest. It makes it easier to put on and take off and provides even more ventilation in extreme heat.
Smaller items of hunting equipment, such as a game call or wind gauge, can be safely stowed in the chest pocket with zip.
The proportion of light-coloured elements in the camouflage pattern has been optimised to create a high-contrast camouflage. It ensures that the hunter does not stand out as a dark spot against the background in low light conditions at dusk, but that his contours blend into the surroundings. The Optimax 2S camouflage pattern combines macro and micro elements and thus optimally breaks up the contours of the hunter at both close and long range. The camo therefore achieves an outstanding camouflage effect both when stalking in the forest at short distances and when hunting in the mountains, sometimes at very long distances.
