We have opted for a tightly woven nylon material so that the hunting trousers can withstand heavy use. It is particularly hard-wearing, does not pull threads and is ideal for tough work on the hunting ground. On the inside, the breathable Active Comfort Liner provides noticeably more comfort. The lightweight, softly roughened material feels pleasant against the skin, reduces friction and prevents unpleasant sticking, even during strenuous movement.
The combination of robust outer material and high-performance ADDVENTEX 10.10 membrane creates hunting trousers that are 100% windproof & water proof and offer high breathability at the same time. The taped seams and waterproof zips provide additional protection against moisture penetration. An ecological BIONIC FINISH ECO impregnation also makes the trousers dirt and water repellent resistant to weather and washing and keeps colours and fabrics looking new for longer.
The Pirscher Gear Rugged Pro trousers have a comfortable cut and a pre-shaped knee section. The slightly wider cut makes them particularly comfortable to wear and offers sufficient freedom of movement for everyday hunting use, even without Stretch. Ventilation zips with mesh inserts on the sides of the thighs ensure cooling air circulation during strenuous activities. Reinforced and adjustable leg cuffs and boot hooks round off the practical features.
The trousers are equipped with a total of five pockets. Two slash pockets, two spacious cargo pockets with zip and a back pocket with zip provide sufficient storage space for important equipment. There is also a mesh mobile phone pocket in the left thigh pocket and a sewn-in Velcro strip for a cartridge holder in the right thigh pocket.

Produkttest in der WILD UND HUND: Gesamtnote "SEHR GUT"
Jagdzeitschrift WILD UND HUND, Ausgabe 12/2026 vom 18.06.2026: "Pirscher Gear "Rugged Pro" Jacke und Hose für jedes Wetter. ERSTER EINDURCK: SEHR GUT - Die Kombination sitzt angenehm und wirkt insgesamt durchdacht. Besonders positiv: Trotz robuster Auslegung trägt die Bekleidung nicht unnötig schwer auf. Die Jacke bietet genügend Bewegungsfreiheit für Anschlag und Revierarbeit. HANDLING: SEHR GUT - Im Revier zeigt sich schnell, dass die "Rugged Pro"-Serie nicht für den Ansitz entwickelt wurde, sondern für Jäger, die ihre Kleidung beanspruchen. Besonders bei morgendlichen Kontrollgängen, Training mit dem Hund oder bei Revierarbeiten überzeugt die Kombination aus robustem Obermaterial und zuverlässigem Wetterschutz - selbst Brombeeren oder dichter Jungwuchs hinterließen kaum Spuren. Die Hose trägt sich sehr angenehm und bleibt auch bei längeren Fußmärschen komfortabel. Das leicht aufgeraute "Active Comfort Liner"-Futter verhindert nämlich unangenehmes "Kleben" an der schweißnassen Haut. Seitliche Ventilationsreißverschlüsse sorgen für gute Luftzirkulation. Die Jacke ergänzt das Konzept sinnvoll. Besonders praktisch im Jagdbetrieb sind die großzügigen Taschen, wie die wasserdichte Brusttasche für Funkgerät oder Handy und die große Hasentasche. Auch bei kräftigem Wind und bei einem überraschenden Regenguss hielt das Set im Test zuverlässig dicht. Angenehm ist zudem die relativ geräuscharme Materialcharakteristik. Zwar erreicht die "Rugged Pro"-Serie nicht die Lautlosigkeit reiner Pirschbekleidung, das Rascheln bleibt jedoch in vertretbarem Ramen. PRAXIS: SEHR GUT - Die "Rugged Pro"-Serie spielt ihre Stärken besonders in der Übergangszeit aus. Gerade morgens, wenn Wiesen und Bewuchs noch nass sind. schützt das Material zuverlässig vor Feuchtigkeit. Tagsüber sorgt die Membrane bei höheren Temperaturen dafür, dass die Bekleidung nicht unangenehm stickig wirkt. V.a. die praxisnahen Details begeistern: verstärkte Beinabschlüsse mit Stiefelhaken, leise Druckknöpfe, große Cargotaschen an Bein und Hüfte sowie robuste Reißverschlüsse. Die etwas großzügigere Passform sorgt zudem für eine ausreichende Bewegungsfreiheit. KOMMENTAR: Das Set hat sich als robuste Arbeits- und Jagdbekleidung beim täglichen Einsatz im Revier bewährt. Wer eine widerstandsfäige Kombination für durchwachsenes Wetter sucht, erhält hier ein durchdachtes Gesamtpaket mit hoher Alltagstauglichkeit.
