The Hanwag Kalixfors SF Extra Lady GTX is not simply a smaller version of the men’s boot. Hanwag manufactures its women’s models using special ladies’ lasts, which are tailored to the proportions of women’s feet, thus ensuring an ideal fit for female hunters.
With its waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane, this ladies’ hunting boot performs reliably in the hunting grounds, even in damp weather. The robust nubuck leather and high shaft provide support when venturing off the beaten track through woods and cross-country, without restricting freedom of movement.
At the same time, the StraightFit Extra lasts are specifically designed to provide more space in the forefoot, with the big toe in particular benefiting from extra room. This is noticeably comfortable on long walks and also creates enough space for thicker hunting socks when it gets colder whilst hunting.
For stalking, the softly cushioned sole construction is particularly useful. It enables a quiet and comfortable roll-off, thereby facilitating a controlled stride. The Vibram Trekking SF sole also offers a wide contact surface and a grippy tread pattern for a variety of terrains.
The 2-zone lacing system allows the foot area and upper to be adjusted separately. Additional protective caps at the toes and heel safeguard the areas of the boot subject to particular wear and tear. The understated colour scheme blends harmoniously with the hunter’s outfit. The Hanwag Kalixfors SF Extra Lady GTX can also be resoled and is 100% manufactured in Europe.
