The Banks Hunt SF Extra Lady GTX is specially designed for female hunters. Hanwag manufactures its women’s models using lasts adapted to the female foot’s anatomy. This model also features the StraightFit Extra fit. It offers more space in the forefoot and provides extra room for the big toe in particular. This is particularly noticeable during long stalking sessions or a full day out in the hunting grounds.
With its waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, this hunting boot is well-suited to wet grass, damp forest paths and changeable weather, whilst also being comparatively lightweight and breathable. This makes it particularly suitable for active hunting from spring through to autumn, when longer distances are covered whilst stalking and carrying out hunting ground work.
The reinforced PU foam wedge between the soles provides additional comfort; this cushions your steps and supports a smooth, comfortable roll. The Vibram Trekking SF sole offers a wide, stable contact surface whilst enabling a quiet stride. This allows the foot to be placed with precision, particularly when stalking.
For the upper, Hanwag uses robust nubuck leather; the toe and heel are further re reinforced d with suede, thus protecting the areas that are subject to particular wear and tear whilst out in the hunting grounds. Sturdy metal lace hooks complement the durable construction of the hunting boot.
The Banks Hunt SF Extra Lady GTX also comes with a second pair of laces in a hunting-inspired orange. This allows the brown boot to be given a highly visible colour accent if required. The women’s hunting boot is resoleable and is manufactured entirely in Europe.
