With its waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, the Kalixfors SF Extra GTX boot is the ideal choice for the hunting grounds in wet weather. The robust nubuck leather makes this hunting boot durable, whilst the high shaft provides additional support. This combination really comes into its own on damp forest paths, in tall grass or in changeable weather.
The comparatively soft sole construction is particularly useful for stalking. The outsole and midsole support a quiet rolling motion and allow you to place your foot in a controlled manner whilst walking. At the same time, the Vibram Trekking SF sole offers the necessary grip for a variety of terrains in the hunting grounds.
Another plus point is the StraightFit Extra fit. There is more space in the forefoot area; the big toe in particular benefits from extra room, which is especially noticeable on long days out hunting. The 2-zone lacing system allows the foot area and upper to be adjusted individually, without having to lace the entire boot evenly tight.
The toes and heel are given extra protection – precisely the areas that quickly come into contact with stones, roots or branches whilst walking through the hunting grounds. The Kalixfors SF Extra GTX also features a replaceable sole and is 100 per cent manufactured in Europe.
