The Hanwag Kalixfors Mid SF Extra Lady GTX hunting boot has been specially developed for female hunters. Hanwag manufactures its women’s models using a last adapted to the female foot’s anatomy. This model also features the StraightFit Extra fit, which allows more space for the forefoot and provides extra room for the big toe in particular. This ensures the boot fits comfortably without being unnecessarily tight at the front.
The waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex™ membrane keeps feet dry in damp weather. This is complemented by robust nubuck leather, which makes the boot well-suited for regular use in the hunting grounds. Protective caps on the toes and heel reinforce the areas subject to the most wear and tear.
Compared to a high hunting boot, the mid-height shaft remains pleasantly flexible whilst walking. This makes the women’s boot particularly appealing when covering long distances in the hunting grounds. At the same time, the shaft offers sufficient stability for forest paths and uneven terrain. The 2-zone lacing system allows the foot and shaft to be adjusted separately, ensuring there is plenty of room even for thicker hunting socks when it gets cooler whilst hunting.
For stalking, the softly cushioned sole construction is a real advantage. It enables a quiet and comfortable roll-off, thereby facilitating a controlled stride. The Vibram Trekking SF sole, with its wide contact surface and grippy tread, ensures a secure footing on a variety of surfaces.
