The Optimax 2S Camouflage
A camouflage pattern for use in field, forest and mountain areas
The OPTIMAX 2S camouflage pattern was developed exclusively for Pirscher Gear in cooperation with the Taiwanese camo specialist TECL-WOOD. The proportion of light-coloured elements in the camouflage pattern has been optimised to create a high-contrast camouflage pattern. It ensures that the hunter does not stand out as a dark spot against the background in low light conditions at dusk, but that her contours blend into the surroundings. OPTIMAX 2S combines macro and micro elements and thus optimally breaks up the contours of the hunter both at close range and at a distance.

The allseason system is suitable for both hunting and stalking. When selecting the materials, we looked for the best compromise between low noise, windproofness, rain protection and breathability.
If you prefer a completely silent solution especially for stalking in mild to warm temperatures, we recommend the Pirscher Gear Silence Pro System (not waterproof).
With the allseason system, you have a reliable all-round companion for any weather and any time of year: whether on mild spring days for stalking bucks, for cool summer nights, in the wet autumn season or when the first snow falls in winter. Thanks to the perfectly coordinated components of the technical layering system, you can adapt to any weather conditions.
The allseason jacket and trousers block light to medium rain over a medium period of time and provide effective protection against moisture. Their outer layer consists of an ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane with a water column of 5,000 mm (m²/24h). In addition, the waterproof zips and taped seams protect against water penetration.
All components of the allseason system are breathable and wick moisture to the outside in the form of vapour. The closer the garment is to the body, the more breathable we have designed it to be. This means that the tech fleece hoodie has the greatest breathability, followed by the hybrid fleece jacket. The allseason jacket and trousers provide the best insulation. The waterproof and windproof membrane used there has a breathability of 8,000g (m²/24h). Ventilation zips also ensure better air circulation.
