Thanks to the PFC-free SEETEX®membrane and the waterproof Dropliner lining, the Seeland Ultimo winter pants is 100% windproof and waterproof. As a result, the winter pants provides reliable protection against wind, rain and moisture. At the same time, the breathable construction helps maintain a comfortable body temperature. This makes the Seeland Ultimo winter pants ideal for long Honts and driven hunts in cold, wet winter weather.
3M” Thinsulate” insulation at 60 g/m² retains body heat even when there is little movement over extended periods. The insulation does not add unnecessary bulk and maintains comfort whilst sitting and taking aim. The raised back waistband provides optimum coverage for the sensitive lower back, even when seated. This means that during long hours on the ‘ treestand’ or at a driven hunt stand, fewer cold draughts penetrate between the trousers and jacket.
The soft outer fabric is ‘ silent’ and reduces annoying fabric rustling when changing position. Canvas reinforcements increase the durability of the hunting trousers during regular use in the hunting grounds. When walking to the hunting stand, the rear ventilation zips can be opened to allow excess heat to escape more quickly. Once you’ve set up your hide, they are closed so that body heat is better retained during the subsequent ‘ hunting’.
Pre-shaped knees and the additional strap adjustment make it easier to kneel, take long strides and climb into the raised hide. The reinforced inner hem protects the leg cuffs from the regular wear and tear caused by hunting boots and rough terrain. The leg cuffs can be individually adjusted to fit your boots. Integrated boot hooks secure the trouser legs to the laces and prevent them from riding up annoyingly when you move.
A total of 5 pockets keep essential kit within easy reach. The 2 thigh pockets offer additional storage space thanks to their pleats and close silent with a magnet. In the right-hand thigh pocket, an integrated cartridge holder keeps ammunition organised and ready to hand. The separate knife pocket is located above the right-hand thigh pocket. There are also 2 side pockets on the winter pants for stowing smaller hunting accessories.
