The Hikmicro T16 wildlife camera combines rapid wildlife detection with high-resolution photos and videos, and convenient 4G remote transmission. Images, videos and camera status can be accessed remotely via the Hikmicro Sight app, and settings can be adjusted directly – ideal for game corridors, feeding plot, game fields and remote areas of the hunting ground.

With the Hikmicro T16, you can monitor your hunting grounds without having to drive to the camera every time you spot something. The highly sensitive PIR motion sensor reacts within just 0.4 seconds and detects movement at distances of up to 25 m. The sensor sensitivity can be adjusted to suit the specific location. This makes the wildlife camera suitable for both narrow game trails and feeding stations, game fields or larger observation areas.

At night, the T16 operates using invisible 940-nm infrared LEDs. This ensures detailed images even in complete darkness, without making the location unnecessarily conspicuous. The infrared intensity adjusts automatically to different distances. In addition, you can choose between a wide field of view of 100° and a more focused field of view of 60°. This allows the camera to be specifically adapted to the respective location.

Various recording modes are available for wildlife monitoring. The native 6 MP sensor generates thumbnails for fast transfer, whilst photos can be downloaded at up to 24 MP if required. Videos are recorded in 1080p, 720p or WVGA in MP4 format. A built-in microphone adds sound to the Full HD recordings. As well as photos and videos, a combination of both is also possible. Burst mode with up to 3 images per shutter release further helps to better document movements.

The integrated 4G connection offers a significant improvement in convenience in the hunting ground. Using the Hikmicro Sight app, images and videos can be transferred to a smartphone or tablet, and camera settings can be adjusted remotely. Sensor sensitivity, operating times, recording parameters and upload intervals can thus be adjusted without having to visit the camera each time. Status information on signal quality, battery level, storage and operating mode can also be accessed remotely. The pre-installed SIM card and the swivelling antenna ensure the mobile network connection.

The setup in the hunting ground has also been carefully thought out. The Wi-Fi live preview allows you to check the current frame directly on your smartphone. This makes it easier to align the camera precisely and helps to avoid unnecessary failed shots. The T16 can be mounted either using the supplied installation strap or via the 1/4" tripod thread.

Recordings are saved to the 64 GB internal storage and can also be managed, filtered and archived via the Cloud Album. Images and videos can also be transferred directly to a computer via USB-C. Features such as customisable operating hours, upload limits and loop recording allow for further customisation to suit the desired surveillance period.

For added security, the Hikmicro T16 features built-in GPS tracking. The camera’s position is updated regularly and can be viewed via the app. If the camera is moved or repositioned, a notification can be triggered – particularly useful for permanently installed camera locations in the hunting ground.

For the power supply, you can choose between 12 AA batteries with a separately available battery compartment or 4 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. The battery compartment for the 18650 batteries is included, but the batteries themselves are not supplied. A DC 12V socket is also available for an external power supply.

Various data plans are available for mobile data and cloud usage; these can be easily booked and managed via the Hikmicro Sight app.
