The great advantage of the Taunus 3R-J becomes apparent depending on the hunting situation: On the dark olive side, the winter jacket remains discreet; when turned inside out, the CE-certified Hi-Vis Camo ensures significantly better visibility to other hunters. Despite having two different sides, the jacket remains silent, warm and water proof on both sides.
For cold and wet hunting days, Hart combines warm HDI100 insulation with the OSMOTECH PLUS membrane. The membrane achieves a water column rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability rating of 10,000 g/m². This keeps the wet out, whilst allowing any moisture generated to escape more effectively. If you get too warm whilst moving around, the ventilation openings under the arms provide additional air circulation.
The features can also be used on both sides of the reversible jacket. Zipped radio pockets keep essential equipment to hand, whilst long Napoleon pockets and cargo pockets offer further storage space. A zipped ‘ game bag’ on the back complements the pocket layout. This means you don’t have to do without practical hunting equipment even after turning the jacket inside out.
The detachable ‘ hood’ can be adjusted in several ways. The HLS Hook & Loop System is used on the sleeves: the cuffs can be adjusted to fit and easily moved to the other side when reversing the jacket. The Hart Taunus 3R-J thus combines robust thermal insulation and weather protection with a well-designed reversible feature for cold hunting days.
