The Deerhunter Eagle winter jacket is a warm, windproof and waterproof hunting jacket designed for winter driven hunts and long outings in inclement weather. Visibility is particularly important during winter hunting driven hunt; the high-visibility Realtree Edge Safety Orange makes the hunter more easily recognisable to other hunters. The Eagle winter jacket is CE-marked for this purpose and certified as Category II PPE in accordance with EN 17353:2020.
The DEER-TEX Performance Shell protects against wintry weather; the membrane is laminated to the back of the outer fabric and all seams are heat-sealed, making the jacket 100% windproof and water proof. A water column rating of 8,000 mm reliably keeps precipitation out, whilst the BIONIC FINISH ECO water-repellent treatment makes the outer fabric even more water- and dirt-repellent.
The DEER-TEX Temp insulation provides the necessary warmth, whilst the jacket achieves a breathability rating of 5,000 g/m². The combination of breathable mesh and quilted lining further promotes a comfortable body climate, ensuring the Eagle is comfortable to wear both during periods of rest and when on the move.
Pre-shaped elbows give the arms greater freedom of movement, whilst the detachable ‘ hood’ can be used or removed depending on the weather and hunting conditions. Ribbed cuffs and the additional adjustment with a loop and press stud ensure a snug fit at the wrist. The two-way front zip and side slits further enhance comfort, particularly when sitting or moving around.
A total of 12 pockets provide ample space for hunting kit. On the left is a radio pocket with an antenna holder and a loop for a radio clip. There are also two Napoleon pockets with concealed zips to keep your hands warm even on cold hunting days. Two spacious front pockets with flaps and two additional side pockets on the front securely store all the hunting accessories you need. The waterproof and easy-to-clean ‘ game bag’ can be detached from three sides and can also be used as a seat pad whilst out and about. Inside, there are also two zipped pockets and two zipped mesh inner pockets.
