The Hart Iron 3-J blood trailing jacket is designed specifically for operations involving thorns, dense scrub and wet undergrowth. When blood trailing, the route rarely takes you across open terrain, and that’s exactly what the Iron 3-J is built for. The sturdy Ripstop Blaze fabric with a double inner layer increases resistance to thorns, whilst ARMORTEX Kevlar® on the shoulders and along the sleeves provides additional protection for the most exposed areas. This robust construction really pays off when working your way through dense undergrowth, whilst the PPE-certified high-visibility colour improves the hunter’s visibility in the field.
The OSMOTECH PLUS membrane offers a high waterproof rating of 10,000 mm whilst achieving a breathability rating of 10,000 g/m². During strenuous sections, additional ventilation openings on the upper back help regulate body temperature. The extra-long side ventilation zips can be opened right down to the bottom of the jacket.
To ensure that the robust ‘ blood trailing jacket’ does not restrict movement in dense undergrowth, Hart combines the ergonomic EDS design with XTRETCH DYNAMIC. The construction is based on the body’s natural movements and ensures the necessary freedom of movement when climbing over obstacles or walking through undergrowth.
The UMP pocket system is particularly practical. Large zipped pockets on the front offer plenty of storage space and conceal separate compartments for a radio or GPS, mobile phone, ammunition and documents. This keeps equipment within easy reach whilst also better protecting it from getting snagged in the undergrowth. The radio pocket also features an antenna opening and a port for running headphones through.
Additional storage space is provided by the lower cargo pockets, a zipped ‘ game bag’ on the back, and a zipped inner pocket. The detachable hood can be stowed in a separate mesh inner pocket when not in use. D-rings on the side seams offer further attachment options for equipment. This makes the Hart Iron 3-J a hunting jacket designed specifically for tough blood trailing and active hunting in dense terrain.
