The Garmin Xero C1 Pro velocity meter reliably and very accurately measures the velocity of a wide variety of bullets and projectiles using state-of-the-art radar technology. This means the chronograph can also be used with muzzle attachments. The sensor is exceptionally precise, ensuring that every shot is measured reliably.

The range of applications is particularly diverse, as the chronograph measures a wide variety of projectiles up to speeds of 1524 m/s. It also measures muzzle kinetic energy, the performance factor, extreme dispersion and standard deviation. This allows accurate conclusions to be drawn about the performance of the firearm and the ammunition.

Set-up is very straightforward. The device is simply positioned next to the barrel and slightly behind the muzzle in the direction of fire. As the chronograph is not triggered by the muzzle blast, it can also record shots with muzzle attachments such as silencers or muzzle brakes. Nor does it need to be attached to the firearm, meaning it has no effect on the weapon’s point of impact.

Thanks to Bluetooth technology, the velocity meter can be easily connected to the SchotView app. Within the app, all information relating to a shooting range session can be viewed, and notes can be made on individual shots. This allows users to mark cold shots and oil shots, as well as weather conditions and, for example, the use of silencers or similar accessories.

Thanks to its IPX7 rating, the device is completely water water proof e and particularly robust, making it ideal for use at open-air shooting ranges or outdoors.
