Description
The Sitka Gear Mountain Optics Harness (subalpine) is a lightweight chest harness for safely carrying binoculars, rangefinders and other hunting accessories that you want to access quickly.
The harness, consisting of a main compartment and two side compartments, has a modular design and can be supplemented with other pouches or holsters in the Molle principle. The two side pockets can be removed.
The main compartment has a large padded pocket for binoculars in the small or medium size range (stalking glasses). There is a cleaning cloth in the main compartment. Behind the main compartment is a small zipped pocket and a document pocket where, for example, the German hunting licence would fit. On the side of the main compartment there are also two small side pockets for very small accessories such as a folding knife or a small torch. Above the main compartment there is a binocular holder on the strap with a quick release fastener.
The detachable side compartments are reinforced and large enough to fit a rangefinder . There is also a small drawer on each side pocket. The side pockets are attached to the harness by Molle.
