Description
The Härkila Heat heated vest is aheatablevest with automatic climate control. Theelectric vest is worn as a warming first layer and is ideal in colder temperatures. Freezing on the hunt was yesterday!
The electric heating membranes are sewn into the parts of the upper body most susceptible to the cold : Once in the chest area and between the shoulder blades.
Härkila is breaking new ground with the heating membranes: Unlike older heating technologies on the market, the heating membranes of the Härkila Heat underwear are so flexible that they can be folded and even machine washed. The heating membranes are foldable and less susceptible to breakage than the conventional copper wires often used in heating garments in the past, which often tended to break.
With the accompanying smartphone app, you can precisely set the base layer shirt to the desired temperature between 32°C and 43°C degrees. The heated base layer shirt can also be regulated to 32°C, 38°C or 43°C via a push button located on the chest , so you don't have to rely on your smartphone. As soon as the base layer shirt has reached the set temperature, the heating membranes automatically switch to standby mode to save energy. If the temperature then drops 1-2 degrees below the desired value, the automatic climate control switches on again and the base layer shirt heats up again to the preset temperature. In this way, the jacket constantly maintains exactly the temperature that is comfortable for you.
The automatic climate control is particularly advantageous when hunting: if you start to sweat due to exertion and your body temperature rises, the heating function switches off automatically. If you then sit still and cool down for a longer period of time at hunting, the heatable hunting jacket switches back to heating mode and regulates the temperature up again.
Härkila deliberately dispenses with the use of its own built-in battery: by using a commercially available powerbank, you gain significantly in flexibility, as you are not dependent on just one battery or manufacturer. The advantage for you: you can quickly and easily connect any powerbank and be ready to brave the cold.
