Modern wool mix: resource-saving & sustainable
We use a functional wool blend of 50% recycled wool and 50% recycled polyester.
The advantage over pure wool: the blended fabric is lighter and dries faster.
Because sustainability is important to us, we have chosen recycled materials and an environmentally friendly, PFC-free impregnation for our loden set.
Frequently asked questions about the Pirscher Gear Summit System
The Summit System is predestined for active types of hunting such as mountain hunting and stalking and is just as suitable for the hunting. It is very quiet, breathable and has the naturally temperature-regulating, warming properties of wool.
The Summit System is warming and temperature regulating due to the high wool content wind repellent. The water-repellent properties of the wool have been enhanced by a DWR treatment (Durable Water Repellent) reinforced. The Summit System is therefore an ideal companion in the changeable transitional season and on cool autumn days.
All parts of the Summit System are machine washable on the gentle cycle (wool programme; please hang dry). As the material is dirt-repellent thanks to the DWR impregnation, light dirt or sweat can simply be brushed off with a little water and a soft brush.
