Woolpower s Socks 600

Woolpower’s 600 socks are classic thick socks, ideal for use from the transition period right through to winter in freezing temperatures.

At Woolpower, the number ‘600’ refers to the fabric weight. This varies from 200 to 800 for socks: the higher the number, the thicker, denser and warmer the fabric. Woolpower 600 socks are made from 600g of Ullfrotté Original material per 1 m² of fabric. This makes the 600 socks among the thickest and warmest in the Woolpower range. The thick 600 series socks are suitable for wear from the transition season right through to winter, in sub-zero temperatures. The socks can be worn on their own or using the ‘ layering system’ (layering method) in combination with a thinner or thicker Woolpower series. The entire sock is made from the highly insulating Ullfrotté Original fabric. Ideal socks for winter stalking or a driven hunt (driven hunt).

The Ullfrotté Original fabric used consists of a blend of 60% merino wool and 40% synthetic fibres. The inside features a soft and airy terry weave. The outer side is smoothly woven. This sophisticated fabric structure allows a great deal of air to be trapped close to the foot.

To prevent pressure points, Woolpower underwear is designed with minimal seams. The cuffs are elasticated. The high-wear areas at the heel and toes are additionally reinforced.

The natural fibres of merino wool offer many advantages. Not only is the material very soft, but it is also highly functional. The material is naturally antibacterial, helping to prevent unpleasant odours. Merino wool also keeps you warm even when wet. The fibres can absorb up to 30 per cent of their own weight in moisture yet still do not feel damp. Colour: Pine Green. Material: 60 per cent merino wool, 40 per cent polyamide.

Woolpower places great emphasis on sustainability. Only high-quality materials are used. All products are manufactured in Sweden. Woolpower uses exclusively European wool and German yarn.

Care instructions: Woolpower products can be washed at 60°C and do not shrink. The underwear is even suitable for tumble drying on a medium heat setting.
