HunTec Challenger Airflake hunting jacket has been specially developed for cold and windy hunting days. Thanks to the innovative Airflake filling, this lightweight jacket warms you up straight away and retains heat for the long term. What’s more, the water-repellent jacket can easily cope with a brief shower thanks to its water-repellent DWR treatment.

There is space for hunting accessories in four pockets. In addition to the two zipped side pockets, the jacket also features two inside pockets for documents and similar items. It also features a fixed ‘ hood’, which is fitted with an elasticated hem for an optimal fit. The cuffs and hem are also elasticated, ensuring optimum comfort.

The HunTec Challenger Airflake hunting jacket is a well-designed all-rounder that offers more than just maximum warmth combined with minimal weight and pack size. The Airflake synthetic fibre, modelled on eiderdown, is extremely compressible without compromising on warmth or durability. Furthermore, this material is particularly dimensionally stable and ‘ breathable’. This makes it ideal for changeable hunting trips in mountainous terrain, as it can be easily stowed away in its own right-hand jacket pocket.

Thanks to the ‘ Blaser HunTec’ camouflage colour scheme, you’ll always be perfectly camouflaged whilst stalking and hunting. Blaser hasn’t forgotten about the environment either; the Airflake fibres are made from 100% recycled polyester, making them particularly sustainable.

The HunTec brand was developed by Blaser specifically as an alpine range for demanding hunting conditions. The fabric used is of particularly high quality and was designed for Blaser HunTec in Japan. All HunTec garments can be perfectly combined with one another using a modular system and offer tremendous freedom of movement.

Depending on the hunting situation, the various products are used as layers. This allows you, for example, to start a strenuous mountain ascent in a T-shirt, before putting on a warm down jacket over the top whilst on the mountain at hunting. If rain sets in, the waterproof hunting jacket is added; in frosty temperatures, the down jacket, and so on.
