ThornPro, Armortex Kevlar, CORDURA and AirTech by F.O.V. make these trousers particularly durable and give them the necessary robustness for tough conditions in the hunting grounds. Thanks to the HWS membrane, the Härkila Velar Pro HWS hunting trousers are 100% windproof and water proof, whilst the additional DWR treatment reduces water absorption by the outer fabric.
However, during strenuous hunts, it’s not just protection that counts, but also a comfortable body climate. The breathable and moisture-wicking fabric ensures comfort during high levels of physical exertion. If you get too warm whilst beating or covering longer distances, the ventilation zips behind the thigh pockets can be opened to quickly provide additional air circulation.
The freedom of movement is also designed for challenging terrain; pre-shaped knees make it easier to take long strides, step over obstacles and move across uneven ground. The elasticated waistband and modern fit ensure a comfortable fit.
The elasticated hem with a non-slip inner band prevents unwanted slipping, whilst boot hooks provide additional support. A zip running from the calf to the hem creates extra room around the lower leg when needed.
There are 2 large zipped thigh pockets for hunting gear; the right-hand pocket also features an integrated cartridge holder, ensuring ammunition is quickly to hand. A D-ring on the left belt loop completes the functional features of these exceptionally robust hunting trousers.
