The blade is made of stainless AISI 420 steel. The handle is made of rubber with additional plastic inserts to make it anti-slip is durable. The blade is incorporated into the handle and is completely enclosed by it. This means that it cannot come loose from the handle unintentionally. To ensure that the machete can be transported safely, it comes in an included nylon sheath, which can also be attached to a belt.
