The padded jacket has excellent insulating properties. The warm inner lining of the jacket stores the body heat excellently. This makes the jacket very versatile, whether as a warming mid-layer under the winter jacket or as a light overcoat in summer.
The jacket is incredibly light and has a tiny pack size and can be folded into the transport bag provided. The transport bag fits in any backpack or in the glove compartment in the car. So you are always prepared for a surprise change of weather.
